Dockline Software Licence Terms for Paddle Purchases

Version dated 29 September 2026. Effective when published at getdockline.app.

1 Parties and Scope

1.1. Dockline is developed and licensed by Dmitrii Solomatin, an individual currently located at Apartment 1303, 15G Sherif Khimshiashvili Street, Batumi, Adjara, Georgia. Support email: help@getdockline.app. Phone: +995 551 152 194.

1.2. The supplier is not described in these terms as a Georgian company or a registered Georgian sole trader. These terms state only the confirmed individual status and current contact location.

1.3. Paddle is the authorised reseller and Merchant of Record for a purchase completed through Paddle Checkout. The buyer purchases through the Paddle entity identified at checkout under Paddle's Buyer Terms. The supplier licenses and supports Dockline.

1.4. These terms govern the Dockline software licence. Paddle's Buyer Terms, Privacy Notice, and Refund Policy separately govern the payment transaction and Paddle's processing of buyer data.

2 Product and Licence

2.1. A purchase grants a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Dockline for macOS with all available features for one year.

2.2. The licence permits Dockline to be installed and used on no more than two active Mac computers owned or used by the buyer. The buyer may release a device slot through the buyer account.

2.3. No ownership or intellectual property rights in Dockline are transferred. The buyer must not sell, rent, sublicense, redistribute, reverse engineer, or circumvent access controls, except to the extent applicable law expressly permits those acts.

2.4. Current features, supported macOS versions, and technical limitations are published at getdockline.app. The buyer should review them before ordering.

3 Price, Tax and One-Time Payment

3.1. The catalogue base price is USD 19.90 before tax. Paddle calculates and adds any applicable tax and displays the final amount before payment.

3.2. The current product is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. It has no automatic renewal or future charge. Another year requires a separate order and confirmed payment.

3.3. If another one-time purchase is confirmed before the existing paid term ends, the additional year begins after that term. If access has expired, the new year begins when the new payment is confirmed.

3.4. Any future recurring annual product would be offered separately and would require clear disclosure and separate consent at that time. These terms do not authorise recurring billing.

4 Delivery and Account Access

4.1. Dockline provides access only after its server receives and verifies Paddle's payment confirmation. A checkout success page alone does not grant the licence.

4.2. The paid period is linked to the Dockline account email used for the order. The buyer verifies that email through the supported app or website flow and activates a Mac.

4.3. If a confirmed purchase is not shown in the account, the buyer should email help@getdockline.app with the purchase email and order number. The buyer must not send card details to Dockline.

5 Updates, Support and Availability

5.1. During the paid term, the buyer receives generally released updates for the relevant Dockline version without an additional licence fee. This does not promise a particular update schedule or future feature.

5.2. macOS may request system permissions for particular features. Their purpose should be explained in the app or on the website. Refusing an optional permission may limit only the related feature.

5.3. Product support is provided at help@getdockline.app. Payment, receipt, tax, and refund support is provided by Paddle at paddle.net.

5.4. Maintenance, network failure, or third-party outage may temporarily prevent an online licence check. A signed offline access document has a limited lifetime and does not extend the paid term.

6 Refunds and Payment Disputes

6.1. Dockline offers a one-month money-back guarantee from the purchase date. The buyer may request a full refund through Paddle buyer support during that period. The separate Dockline refund page explains the process. Paddle's Buyer Terms and Refund Policy govern the payment transaction, subject to mandatory consumer law.

6.2. A confirmed full refund or chargeback may end or suspend access arising from the affected payment. Other valid purchases remain unless Paddle or applicable law requires otherwise.

6.3. Dockline does not issue a separate invoice or collect repayment directly from the buyer for a transaction sold by Paddle.

7 Personal Data

7.1. Paddle independently processes payment, tax, fraud-prevention, and receipt data under its Privacy Notice. Paddle may provide Dockline with the information needed to fulfil the product.

7.2. Dockline processes the account email, order and provider references, paid period, technical logs, and pseudonymous installation and device identifiers to deliver and restore access, enforce the device limit, provide support, prevent abuse, and comply with law.

7.3. The Dockline privacy notice for Paddle purchases explains purposes, legal grounds, recipients, retention, security, and data rights.

8 Acceptable Use and Termination

8.1. The buyer must use Dockline lawfully and must not interfere with the service, another user, or the licence system.

8.2. Access may be suspended while fraud, a chargeback, credential compromise, or material misuse is investigated. Where the issue can be corrected, Dockline will use a reasonable process to restore lawful access.

8.3. The licence ends when the paid term expires, the affected payment is fully refunded, or the agreement is validly terminated for a material breach. Clauses that by their nature survive termination, including intellectual property and accrued rights, remain effective.

9 Liability and Mandatory Rights

9.1. Dockline is supplied with the features and limitations described at the time of purchase. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9.2. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the supplier is not responsible for indirect loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when the licence was accepted. This limitation does not apply where the law prohibits it.

10 Changes and Applicable Law

10.1. The version available when the order is placed governs that paid term. A later change does not shorten an existing paid term or create recurring charges.

10.2. These supplier terms do not override the governing-law and dispute provisions in Paddle's Buyer Terms for the Paddle transaction. The law applicable to the software licence is determined by mandatory consumer rules and applicable conflict-of-law rules.

10.3. Product complaints may be sent to help@getdockline.app. Payment and refund requests should also be submitted through paddle.net.
